'Panda II' Showing in Phoenix--Thurs., Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.

Posted by angelchgo on Saturday, 22 November 2014

GAM-TV is proud to announce a viewing party for "Panda II: Rise of a Gay Asian Bear" in Phoenix at the Kobalt Bar, 3110 N. Central in the mall, Thurs., Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. The viewing is free! DVDs will be on sale, as will 2015 Asians & Friends/Long Yang Club calendars.

The two-part "Panda" series follows a gay, Asian man as he reels from the break-up of a long-term relationship into the dark, chaotic leather scene. While the "bear" scene can be a great expression for the GLBT community, for "Panda," it's a spiral into alcohol and drugs that only his close friends can pull him from. Though sounding dark, the Panda webisodes are at its heart an upbeat, humorous story about a gay Asian man's stumbles on the road of life.
